Teriyaki Bowl












ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb cubed chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • steamed rice
  • broccoli




Instructions

  • Combine soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, garlic and cornstarch in a small bowl.
  • Heat a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the oil.
  • When the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts. Fry for about 3 minutes on each side (5 to 6 in total) until golden brown.
  • Add the teriyaki sauce to the chicken and stir until the sauce thickens.
  • Remove from fire. Serve chicken over rice in a bowl with steamed broccoli. Enjoy!
